As a Social Media Producer for Paizo, you're an expert of livestreaming best practices and the technology used to power them. You work your wizardry on camera, and you know what makes livestreams fun to watch. When it's all done, you're cutting those livestreams into videos that power Paizo's social channels.

The social media producer has responsibility for the production of content across all Paizo social channels, but they're also part of a small team of marketers that spread the word about the amazing Pathfinder and Starfinder gaming products that we release each month.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Management of Paizo's social media to drive awareness and engagement in a manner that reflects positively on the company, its partners, and its fans
  • Create strategies and tactics that drive the growth of social media channels
  • Create compelling videos for social media, advertising, and promotions
  • Ability to break down and setup a livestream studio with proper lighting, sound, and staging
  • Facilitate on-camera and audio interviews for public relations
  • Possess the charm and magnetism to be the host for Paizo's livestreams
  • Attend conventions on behalf of Paizo to drive social media engagement for fans that cannot attend
  • Work across teams to drive social media engagement. Whether that's planning interviews with the design teams, working with licensing partners to share their latest news, managing convention streaming, or other partnerships, you're driven to get content released on time
  • Create reports that provide actionable insights and recommendations
  • Manage streaming partners in their productions for Paizo social media channels

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • A track record of content production, either as livestreamer or at a production company, film studio, or similar
  • Experience with producing videos using Adobe Premiere or similar software is required. Please provide links to a few that represent your best work
  • Experienced with using streaming software (OBS Studio, Streamlabs OBS, Wirecast, or similar)
  • Ability to manage the audio mix across livestreams and other productions
  • Experience managing social media channels using management tools like Buffer and Brand24
  • Must be able to work in a team-centered environment, yet be able to finish tasks on your own
  • Must have good organizational skills, ability to manage time effectively
  • Must have ability to maintain confidential information
  • Able to work in a tactful manner with customers and/or suppliers who might be overtly hostile or impolite
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and comfortable learning other software packages, including Teamwork, Facebook for Business, and similar platforms
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a high level of competence
  • Physical ability to operate telephone, computer hardware/software, ability to type, and to sit for extended periods of time
  • Background in tabletop gaming is a plus
  • College or technical degree or the equivalent experience in an industry related to this job

Interpersonal Contacts

Contacts are made both inside and outside the organization. Internal contacts include the operations team (including the customer service staff), the publishing team, and Paizo management. External contacts include social media channels (streamers, YouTube personalities) and business contacts.

Job Conditions

  • Office located in Seattle, Washington area (any relocation expenses are the responsibility of the applicant)
  • Normal office and warehouse working conditions
  • Job might require hours that exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week
  • Job will require rapid adaptation to the large workload and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Occasional domestic travel is required (this is generally limited to major hobby conventions)

Webstore Coordinator

As Paizo’s Webstore Coordinator you will report into the Chief Operations Officer and partner with the extended management team. Paizo is seeking a Webstore Coordinator who will oversee a fast-paced e-commerce operation. In addition to keeping the daily operations running smoothly, the Webstore Coordinator will assist in the continued growth of the website and the implementation of new product lines and sales programs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Curates third-party retail and consignment products offered through paizo.com
  • Manages product categories and ensures that individual products have appropriate copy, images, and secondary information
  • Collaborates with the Customer Service and Information Technology teams to improve the paizo.com customer shopping experience
  • Holds a lead role in managing consignor relationships, including contracts, in-coming products, and support
  • Monitors product inventory levels and places regular supply orders
  • Closely coordinates with the Customer Service and Warehouse teams to ensure timely fulfillment of paizo.com orders
  • Coordinates with the Executive team to draft and implement online sales and promotions
  • Works to track ongoing sales data, goal performance, and reporting for the paizo.com webstore
  • Manages the strategy and implementation of paizo.com subscription lines
  • Generates marketing emails for paizo.com webstore sales, promotions, and products
  • Works to continuously evaluate, improve, and document webstore processes
  • Works with the Marketing and Technology teams to highlight sales, promotions, and products through other areas of paizo.com and social media channels

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 2-3 years of experience in eCommerce
  • Ability to use HTML as well as skills in image manipulation (using tools such as Adobe Photoshop) will be necessary for curating products on the paizo.com webstore
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional and enthusiastic attitude when dealing with customers, contributors, distributors, and suppliers, even in high stress or otherwise difficult situations
  • Ability to work proactively and take initiative in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to create and maintain processes in response to rapidly changing goals
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and other teams within the company
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies efficiently and independently
  • Has an ownership mindset
  • Some college course work or equivalent experience a plus
  • Background in tabletop gaming and/or familiarity with Paizo products a plus
